In process for a commission I just completed for Valong. The full image will be/is on DA.
Description of image stuff will be there.
Basically, this is full digital. Original sketch is in photoshop, inked in SAI, then back to Photoshop for colors and rendering. Initial sketch, “cleaned up” sketch, lines, lines with flat colors, “shadow” being rendered, then lighting being rendered (super shine is added later when the background and everything is put into place).

Dedicated/and then sorta morphed Cheer up thing for some caca face. They know who they are. In any event…yeah.
I’ll bitch and cry, but it’s a sketch, and i’ve maybe drawn him like once or twice? His helm is beastly, Jesus. It’s probably because he’s so boxy that it’s harder for me to get away with the fluid lines like everyone else. Anywho, sketches are fun as I try to “start over” in a way according to the words a friend of mine told me when block face was getting nasty. So sketches, then lines, then color again. Well, besides the commissions…
Oh, and going back to drawing them mostly snarly fuckers since I was starting to try and alter how I did them again to be more cookie cutter and it probably lead to some of that block. Be yourself.
My old Gryphon/Chimera thing Soul.
Palm Cockatoo with some kind of black feline and reptile bits thrown in. He’s grumpy, but very intelligent…tends to disregard people a lot unless they annoy him. Then he might eat them. Despite having the front end of a herbivorous bird he is omnivorous and more on the meat eating side. Though he likes sweet things, just he won’t pass up a horse or deer or something if the need arises.
I probably posted this before too, somewhere…I THINK. Well, you get it again until I make a bigger nastier version.

This is one of the mock up sketches of TFP Chromia that I got really pissy about and just left alone for the moment. I’ll probably go back since i’m messing with femmebots again, but it’s mostly they’ll just be super doodle-fied and much curvier then is allowed on televisions because I can. :I
Her head drives me completely crazy.
TFP design Strika I need to revisit and tweak. She does not have her head…since her head is actually on that other thing I did. This is a very small sketch I had to blow up. Ugh
